Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy backend APIs in Golang for content delivery systems.
  • Build large-scale, fault-tolerant, and highly available application architectures.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and deploy and scale them with Kubernetes.
  • Configure clusters and alerts using Terraform and related infrastructure automation tools.
  • Leverage public cloud services to create efficient and performant application architectures.
  • Review pull requests and mentor other developers through code reviews.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning on a two-week cadence.
  • Provide operational support for applications, including participation in the on-call rotation.
  • Establish, improve, and advocate best practices for application and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Collaborate on well-tested, performant applications with an emphasis on concurrency and scale.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining software platforms and deployments.
  • Experience developing APIs, SDKs, and CLI tooling.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, test-driven development, CI/CD, and version control.
  • Experience building and enhancing configuration-driven systems using Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Salt, or similar tools.
  • Experience writing scalable software in Golang.
  • Experience with Ruby, Node, Python, or similar languages/environments is a plus.
  • Experience working effectively as a self-starter in a remote-friendly environment.
  • Experience implementing GraphQL and REST APIs at scale.
  • Strong focus on unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is preferred.
