Description

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain secure ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured public health data.
  • Develop scalable batch, scheduled, event-driven, and near-real-time data pipelines.
  • Support portal intake, validation, workflow automation, notifications, reporting, analytics, and bidirectional MHS data exchange.
  • Integrate Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Azure services, APIs, SQL Server, and approved file-transfer platforms.
  • Develop secure MHS SQL Server integrations using approved APIs, stored procedures, connectors, gateways, hybrid connections, or VPN interfaces.
  • Preserve the authoritative system of record and comply with approved database-access controls.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders using Agile and automate-first DevSecOps practices.
  • Contribute to iterative delivery, problem-solving, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, data warehousing, analytics engineering, or database development.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining production ETL and ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
  • Strong SQL Server development skills, including queries, views, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing secure, controlled database interfaces and integrations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Azure services, APIs, file-transfer platforms, and hybrid or VPN integrations.
  • Knowledge of FISMA Moderate security requirements, federal privacy controls, GCC cloud environments, and Enterprise Performance Life Cycle requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and solve complex customer problems.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices.
