Description

  • Define and execute the engineering strategy and technical roadmap aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead system architecture decisions to support scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across code, architecture, infrastructure, and complex problem-solving.
  • Establish engineering best practices for code quality, testing standards, deployment processes, and security guidelines.
  • Lead engineering execution from ideation through launch across full product lifecycles in a 0→1 environment.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to define requirements, scope features, and build predictable roadmaps.
  • Drive delivery excellence through clear accountability, data-driven prioritization, sprint execution, and resource allocation.
  • Strengthen DevOps, observability, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and on-call reliability.
  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-impact engineering organization across internal, contract, nearshore, or hybrid teams.
  • Recruit engineering talent, develop career paths and performance standards, and partner cross-functionally with leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies, cloud-native approaches, and extensible architecture.
  • 5+ years leading engineering teams, including experience as a Director, Head of Engineering, or VP.
  • Proven experience building and launching 0→1 products in a startup or fast-growth environment.
  • Strong ability to switch between strategic planning and tactical execution.
  • Expertise in system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native infrastructure, especially AWS.
  • Experience setting engineering culture, standards, and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience in SaaS, AI/ML, B2B, or enterprise products is preferred.
  • Experience managing hybrid engineering teams is preferred.
  • Experience with security, compliance, or highly regulated environments is preferred.

Benefits
