Description

  • Own end-to-end regulatory licensing operations, including timely and accurate submittals and renewals.
  • Lead the high-volume regulatory complaint process, including investigating consumer issues and drafting formal responses.
  • Refine templated complaint language to meet CFPB and other regulatory standards.
  • Act as lead investigator during regulatory audits by gathering evidence and drafting formal communications.
  • Improve the audit submission lifecycle by using data visualization and automated evidence-gathering tools.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement tech-driven efficiencies in compliance workflows.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for licensing vendors and state regulators.
  • Create and maintain dashboards that translate complaint trends and audit findings into executive-ready insights.
  • Own audit remediation and ensure findings are converted into lasting process improvements.
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions into the compliance framework.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a structured, process-oriented environment such as Compliance or Audit.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry such as consumer financial services or collections.
  • Superior writing skills for drafting nuanced, accurate, and professional regulatory responses.
  • Strong independent ownership of projects from conception through completion.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Mac systems.
  • Preferred experience with Jira, AuditBoard, or the CFPB complaint portal.
  • Ability to anticipate regulatory hurdles and build proactive processes.
  • Comfort working autonomously while collaborating across functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and high ethical standards when handling sensitive data.

Benefits
