Description

  • Review original production content to identify potential brand safety concerns.
  • Conduct thematic research to assess whether stories align with global safety standards.
  • Partner with Content, Localization, and Editorial Programming teams on quality control and safety checks before publication.
  • Track and analyze global trends in censorship, copyright, media law, and internet governance.
  • Draft memos, policy briefs, fact sheets, and weekly trend updates for the policy team.
  • Monitor global socio-political developments and provide localized analysis of their impact on content policy.
  • Support documentation and reporting related to content policy and safety.
  • Contribute to cross-functional workflows at the intersection of media, policy, and technology.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or current senior pursuing a degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Sociology, Community Studies, or a related field.
  • Deep interest in diversity and inclusion, content compliance, and the legal aspects of the digital landscape.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn complex policy issues into actionable insights.
  • Strong awareness of pop culture and societal trends in the United States, Latin America, and South Korea.
  • Professional experience with MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new internal CMS tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean or Japanese is highly preferred.
  • Resilience and emotional intelligence are important due to frequent exposure to sensitive, graphic, or disturbing content.
