Description

  • Design, provision, optimize, and operate enterprise AWS environments across large multi-account architectures, including GovCloud and commercial AWS partitions.
  • Build repeatable infrastructure provisioning and operational automation using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
  • Design and support secure CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, artifact management, and software delivery automation.
  • Engineer and operate Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and Docker environments for enterprise workloads.
  • Plan and execute cloud migrations, including lift-and-shift, modernization, onboarding, refreshes, and decommissioning.
  • Design and maintain hybrid-cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud, AWS Commercial, Microsoft Azure Government, on-premises, and other government cloud platforms.
  • Administer, secure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and RHEL systems supporting enterprise applications.
  • Implement compliant cloud environments aligned with DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, SRGs, FedRAMP, and AWS security best practices.
  • Provide Tier III engineering, production support, monitoring, disaster recovery, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational sustainment.
  • Lead engineering efforts and collaborate with government leaders, architects, cybersecurity teams, program managers, and application teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting AWS environments spanning hundreds of accounts and mission workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, GitOps, and secure software delivery.
  • Experience with RHEL and Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, SRGs, FedRAMP, and AWS security best practices.
  • Experience with enterprise tooling such as Jenkins, Splunk, Prisma Cloud, CyberArk, Okta, Keycloak, Jira, Confluence, ACAS, HBSS, LogRhythm, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Azure Boards, Jira, Confluence, and customer onboarding.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate, AWS Data Engineer Associate, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Security Specialty, AWS AI Practitioner, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CAPM, CompTIA Project+, and CompTIA Security+.
