Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of data science solutions for enterprise cybersecurity operations.
  • Develop data models, machine learning algorithms, and automation for monitoring, detection, threat hunting, UEBA, and cyber defense.
  • Design data architectures and pipelines that ingest, normalize, correlate, and analyze disparate security and enterprise data.
  • Build predictive risk, threat identification, attack simulation, and cyber risk impact analysis capabilities.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, visualizations, and reports communicating cybersecurity trends and findings.
  • Create detection and alerting mechanisms for Indicators of Compromise and Indicators of Attack.
  • Integrate analytics with SIEM and SOAR platforms and support UEBA capabilities.
  • Design automation for security tool administration, customized searches, and cybersecurity applications.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, integrity, architecture, and analytical issues.
  • Collaborate with SOC personnel, threat hunters, intelligence analysts, penetration testers, forensics specialists, and cybersecurity engineers.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field; equivalent additional experience may substitute year-for-year.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, data project engineering, or data-focused software development.
  • Experience designing technical solutions and leading implementation teams.
  • Experience with Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience architecting analytical methods using machine learning.
  • Experience developing cybersecurity data models, machine learning algorithms, workflows, or architecture strategies.
  • Experience merging disparate data sources and deriving data-driven insights.
  • Experience automating security tool management and developing customized searches and applications.
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification and eligibility for a Secret clearance required.
