Description

  • Own the data and analytics support queue for pipeline failures, ETL/ELT errors, and Power BI dashboard issues.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate data pipelines across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Write and execute SQL scripts for data fixes, record corrections, and diagnostic analysis.
  • Support Snowflake and Databricks through query optimization, job failure diagnosis, and cluster management.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines that support data operations, including Tier 1 monitoring and Tier 2 remediation.
  • Handle SQL-heavy overflow tickets from application support queues, including data corrections and report issues.
  • Coordinate with the client data team on schema changes, pipeline updates, and capacity planning.
  • Perform minor data platform enhancements as assigned and support vehicle telematics data ingestion pipelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or data platform support.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 3 of the following: Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning across SQL Server and cloud databases.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, RDS, and Glue.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboard connectivity, data source troubleshooting, refresh failures, and DAX basics.
  • Experience with Python scripting for data transformation, automation, and diagnostics.
  • Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline basics for data workflows.
  • Production pipeline support experience is strongly preferred.
  • English proficiency is required for tickets, escalations, and client communication.
