Description

  • Run workshops with business owners to understand current and target ERP processes across Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, and related functions.
  • Document as-is and to-be processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and perform fit-to-standard analysis.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, triaging defects, and enabling users.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL and extension-based architecture.
  • Customize pages, codeunits, reports, approvals, document layouts, and posting logic when needed.
  • Build and maintain BC APIs and integration endpoints using REST, OData, and web services.
  • Design reliable integrations and data flows with other systems such as banking, WMS, EDI, BI, and internal applications.
  • Handle data imports and migration tasks, including configuration packages, data templates, and reconciliation support.
  • Provide planning input, estimation, documentation, and 2nd/3rd-line production support with root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central, or NAV experience with recent BC projects.
  • Strong AL development experience, including extensions, events/subscribers, pages, codeunits, permissions, and debugging.
  • Solid ERP knowledge, ideally with Finance fundamentals such as GL, AP, AR, posting, dimensions, and approvals.
  • Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and writing clear specs and user stories.
  • Working knowledge of integrations, including REST/OData APIs, data mapping, authentication concepts, and error handling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders and explain trade-offs clearly.
  • Experience with BC implementations or rollouts is preferred.
  • Experience in areas such as Inventory/Warehouse, Projects/Job Costing, or Fixed Assets is preferred.
  • Exposure to RDLC or Word layouts, analytics/BI, Power Platform, Azure DevOps/Jira, CI/CD, or release management is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications in Business Central or Power Platform are preferred, or a willingness to obtain them.
