Description

  • Lead the implementation and testing of Microsoft Fabric, including evaluation of ETL processes and query performance.
  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric to move data into a central warehouse.
  • Design and document data architectures across data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud databases.
  • Apply best practices in ETL development, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed in cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and support project delivery in an agile environment.
  • Test, build, and optimize data solutions for client proof-of-concept initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services such as Fabric, ADF, Databricks, or Synapse.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Fabric in a production environment.
  • Strong ETL development experience, particularly with Azure Data Factory.
  • Ability to lead data model discussions across multiple departments, teams, and subject areas.
  • Strong data modeling experience with dimensional modeling, star schema, and Kimball methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and performance tuning.
  • Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as Databricks, Fabric, or Synapse.
  • Strong business analysis skills to gather requirements and align solutions with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Experience integrating AI tooling and processes into pipelines and outputs (preferred).
  • Must reside in the United States.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
