Description

  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, workflows, technical environments, data, and constraints.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into technical requirements, architectures, prototypes, and delivery plans.
  • Build AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, developer tools, APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack products.
  • Engineer AI harnesses, including tools, context, memory, permissions, runtime controls, observability, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Design agent loops, graph-based workflows, state machines, and human approval processes.
  • Create evaluation frameworks measuring task completion, accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, cost, and user value.
  • Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, data sources, cloud platforms, and third-party services.
  • Troubleshoot client-environment issues and address AI failure modes such as hallucinations, looping, prompt injection, and unsafe actions.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, trade-offs, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish testing, documentation, security, observability, continuous delivery, and reusable engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Professional experience building and deploying production-grade software, preferably AI-powered or agentic systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or a comparable language used for AI applications and developer tooling.
  • Practical experience with AI harness engineering, agent loops, orchestration, context management, tools, permissions, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Experience designing AI evaluation systems, regression suites, human reviews, production monitoring, or related quality frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern software development.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into validated prototypes and secure, maintainable production systems.
  • Strong product judgment across model capability, reliability, latency, cost, security, and user experience.
  • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining AI behavior, limitations, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client workshops or on-site delivery.
  • Experience with agent frameworks, workflow engines, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, observability, or multi-agent systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD is preferred.
  • Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, sales engineering, regulated environments, or enterprise delivery is preferred.
  • Claude certification or equivalent practical experience with Claude-based AI solutions is preferred.
