Description

  • Lead billable AI and automation client engagements from discovery and scoping through delivery and post-implementation review.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client AI projects, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and relationships.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and process assessments to identify client inefficiencies and solution opportunities.
  • Present findings, project plans, and progress updates to client stakeholders and executives.
  • Own the full project lifecycle for AI implementations, including planning, execution, handoff, and reporting.
  • Build project plans, manage resources, track milestones, and proactively identify and communicate risks.
  • Coordinate internal staff, external vendors, and client stakeholders across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate AI tools for client work and internal operations.
  • Improve internal processes through AI-driven automation and standardization.
  • Design and deliver training, coach junior staff, and provide ongoing AI support to the firm.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and report results to clients and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technology implementation, process improvement, or client-facing consulting.
  • Experience in professional services or an accounting/finance environment, preferred.
  • Degree in accounting, finance, business, computer science, math, or a related field.
  • Proven project management skills across concurrent projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating and deploying AI or automation tools in a business context.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
  • Experience creating documentation and user guides for automation solutions.
  • Confident client communication skills, including leading meetings and presenting to executives.
  • Comfort working in an accounting and finance context.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance considerations in professional services.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms, preferred.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Power Automate, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Intuit or Xero APIs, preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, CPA, or equivalent certification, preferred.
