Description

  • Manage multiple short-term rental listings across Airbnb and VRBO.
  • Create, launch, update, and optimize property listings, including descriptions, amenities, photos, house rules, and availability.
  • Handle guest communications from inquiry and booking through check-in, the duration of the stay, and check-out.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, access issues, and urgent requests.
  • Maintain reservation calendars and ensure booking information remains accurate across platforms.
  • Coordinate cleaners, turnovers, maintenance concerns, and other property-related requirements.
  • Review each unit’s amenities, access instructions, building details, emergency information, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure guests receive accurate check-in instructions, property information, and follow-up support.
  • Assist with launching additional properties as they receive short-term rental licenses and professional photos.
  • Work closely with the existing Virtual Assistant and company leadership during onboarding and knowledge transfer.
  • Support dynamic pricing and revenue management activities when experienced with PriceLabs or similar platforms.
  • Perform light bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks when qualified, such as categorizing purchases and organizing expenses by unit.

Requirements

  • Strong, recent, hands-on experience managing Airbnb properties.
  • Experience managing multiple short-term or vacation rental listings simultaneously.
  • Experience using both Airbnb and VRBO.
  • Previous experience working for a property management, hospitality, or vacation rental company.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Airbnb guest journey, platform rules, listing management, reservations, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to manage guest communications independently without training on Airbnb fundamentals.
  • Strong written English and the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with guests.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to handle urgent concerns calmly and make sound operational decisions.
  • Comfortable working independently while coordinating with cleaners, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Experience with Guesty, Hospitable, or another property management system (preferred).
  • Experience with PriceLabs or similar dynamic-pricing software (preferred).
  • QuickBooks or light bookkeeping experience (preferred).
  • Experience launching new short-term rental listings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Canadian holidays, seasonal pricing, and vacation-rental booking patterns (preferred).
  • Remote full-time role at 30 hours per week.
  • PST-aligned schedule with some evening and weekend coverage.
