Description

  • Work on projects that support Transcarent’s mission by improving secure access to products for members and employees.
  • Help design, build, and test identity and access management features, including login, registration, account recovery, and SSO/federation workflows.
  • Contribute to backend services that integrate with Ping and AWS/GCP infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.
  • Support identity platform tooling and environments, including non-production and sandbox improvements, automation, and observability.
  • Participate in the full engineering lifecycle, including design discussions, code reviews, writing tests, monitoring services, and responding to issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers across web, mobile, platform, data, and security teams to deliver secure sign-in experiences.
  • Gain exposure to sprint planning, shipping code, and other day-to-day engineering team processes under the guidance of a formal mentor.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Interest in security, compliance, and privacy as they relate to identity platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (nice to have).
  • Exposure to identity platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity/PingOne, Auth0, or AWS IAM/IAM Identity Center (nice to have).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows (nice to have).
  • Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not provided.
