Description

  • Create resilient pipelines processing large daily data volumes from vehicle fleets and simulations.
  • Build and support scalable Data Factory pipelines for machine-learning training.
  • Scale the data lake through distributed storage, data crawling, and discovery systems.
  • Maintain data integrity through validation, versioning, provenance, and governance.
  • Acquire and integrate datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Linux- and cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with perception, planning, control, mapping, and vehicle-testing teams.
  • Implement cloud capabilities supporting the development, deployment, and testing of safety-critical autonomous vehicle software.
  • Participate in the business-hours on-call rotation for deployed systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience writing Python code.
  • Practical experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Experience with Linux, Bash scripting, and maintaining Linux systems.
  • Commitment to test-driven development, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience deploying, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining systems.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based serverless solutions and AWS services such as Lambda, Batch, ECS Fargate, Glue, and Athena (preferred).
  • Experience with Python data libraries such as pandas and NumPy, Databricks, database architectures, robotics or ADAS data systems, or Ray for ML workloads (preferred).
