Description

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for internal and customer-facing products focused on growth, platform leverage, and cross-product synergy.
  • Define how Toptal’s products, tools, marketplaces, and services combine into cohesive customer experiences for talent and clients.
  • Translate high-level vision into strategic frameworks, roadmaps, and prioritization criteria that teams can execute against.
  • Identify and validate reusable platform capabilities across business lines, acquisitions, and partners.
  • Lead strategy for upsell, cross-sell, and packaging across multiple offerings and customer segments.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing on experimentation, funnel optimization, and long-term product strategy.
  • Define segmentation-driven approaches for what to offer, when to offer it, and how.
  • Partner with M&A to build and improve repeatable product integration frameworks that accelerate acquisition value creation.
  • Provide thought leadership and clear written and verbal communication to Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers and help shape the Product Management function and culture.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Establish objectives and initiatives, recommend team structure, and help scale the organization thoughtfully as strategy develops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • At least 10 years of software Product Management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading other Product Managers.
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer is a strong plus.
  • Experience leading AI-enabled products with measurable business outcomes.
  • Comfort using SQL or spreadsheets to analyze data and conduct user research.
  • Ability to craft solutions using data and a user-centric approach.
  • High attention to quality when writing user stories, brainstorming technical approaches, and testing features before release.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using agile development methodologies with globally distributed teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle varied challenges, deadlines, and contacts.
  • Must be a world-class individual contributor and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Resumes and communication must be submitted in English.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at scheduled virtual team meetings on camera is required.
  • Must use all required digital collaboration tools and self-manage workflows and deadlines.
