Description

  • Build complete product features for Pages and Apps from early technical planning through final UI fixes.
  • Develop tooling and libraries that help other engineers ship faster and with higher quality.
  • Write and review well-tested code to keep the product stable and maintainable.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and engineering colleagues to solve customer problems.
  • Own solutions through production and beyond, responding to customer feedback and iterating as needed.
  • Improve the codebase and team processes by identifying areas for technical and workflow enhancement.
  • Shape and evolve the design system by building robust, performant, and reliable components.
  • Mentor other engineers and support their growth at higher levels of the role.
  • Help prioritize the roadmap and allocate time pragmatically and effectively.
  • Contribute across frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed in a broad full-stack role.

Requirements

  • Capability with a high-level programming language and comfort building a small command-line program from JSON input.
  • Strong familiarity with technical problem solving at a moderate level of complexity.
  • Experience with Ruby and TypeScript is helpful, but not required.
  • No specific degree or previous work experience is required.
  • No cybersecurity knowledge or application security experience is required for this role.
  • Comfort contributing across frontend, backend, and infrastructure in a broad role.
  • Ability to work with common tools such as Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, and Docker.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn are valued more than existing experience.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
  • Ability to work fully remotely from anywhere in EST; Greater Boston candidates may optionally use the Boston office space.
