Description

  • Refactor optimization algorithms written in Python using object-oriented programming.
  • Apply data science to supply chain and optimization challenges in retail and CPG.
  • Analyze large datasets using advanced statistical techniques to generate pricing optimization insights.
  • Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to improve pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in data science, replenishment optimization, and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with, coach, and learn from experienced data scientists.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a data scientist, focused on supply chain optimization and inventory allocation.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience using mathematical programming solvers such as Gurobi, Xpress MP, CPLEX, or Google OR-Tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, optimization techniques, and predictive modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Ability to apply analytical models to business use cases.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including explaining solutions to business stakeholders.
