Description

  • Lead process discovery and redesign workshops to assess current-state workflows, identify root causes, and define future-state processes optimized for AI enablement.
  • Design, validate, and iterate executable BPMN 2.0 and DMN models that serve as the blueprint for implementation and system integration.
  • Incorporate deterministic and probabilistic decision automation and AI agents into redesigned processes.
  • Capture current workflows, build and prioritize a backlog of improvement opportunities, and guide initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Provide regular agile-style reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to ensure processes integrate with enterprise systems, data flows, compliance requirements, and data standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver against enterprise standards and timelines.
  • Support process ownership, governance, security, and PII controls across departments.
  • Catalog processes as enterprise assets and help build a process landscape that informs automation and AI roadmaps.
  • Use process mining and analytics tools to measure adoption, performance, and business value realization.
  • Work with the Data Solutions team to align redesigned processes with the enterprise data foundation and semantic data model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, BPM, or process optimization.
  • Deep expertise in BPMN 2.0 and DMN modeling and process redesign.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder facilitation, backlog management, and progress reporting.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying BPMN/DMN in Camunda 8 (Zeebee) as the source of truth for delivery.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling principles, including dimensions/facts, star schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
  • Ability to collaborate with data engineers and analysts to specify datasets, define metrics, validate results, and align with semantic data models.
  • Proven track record of successful automation and agentic AI deliverables.
  • Strong curiosity and passion for AI, with the ability to apply AI thoughtfully in business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge business and technology and navigate negotiations.
  • Preferred: exposure to process mining tools and methodologies.
  • Preferred: experience with automation and AI tools such as RPA, IDP, OCR, NLP, and ML integration.
  • Preferred: familiarity with API-driven and event-driven workflow design.
  • Preferred: experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred: data literacy and SQL proficiency for translating process KPIs into queries and reusable views.
  • Preferred: exposure to a programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
