Description

  • Design, create, and run products within Tide’s business areas, such as Payments Service and Business Service.
  • Work on both new and existing products and help deliver brand-new features on a long roadmap.
  • Translate requirements into well-engineered solutions in collaboration with product owners, UI/UX designers, architects, engineers, and other business members.
  • Own engineering practices and contribute technical decisions that affect multiple teams and Tide’s One Platform.
  • Work in small autonomous agile teams that own micro-frontends and contribute to a resilient, error-free, scalable codebase.
  • Learn, share knowledge, and support collaborative experimentation across the engineering team.
  • Mentor and connect with less experienced engineers to help drive team growth.
  • Participate in the Flutter Community of Practice and help improve team processes and quality.

Requirements

  • Working experience as a Software Engineer using Flutter.
  • Experience with popular Flutter libraries, tools, and the Flutter lifecycle.
  • Passion for building great products in small, autonomous, agile teams.
  • Experience writing testable code and a strong interest in automation tests.
  • Experience building sleek, high-performance user interfaces and complex mobile apps that have shipped to customers.
  • Experience with Flutter and Dart (latest iterations used in the stack).
  • Familiarity with tools and patterns such as Melos, flutter_bloc, get_it, injectable, auto_route, flow_builder, freezed, json_serializable, retrofit, dio, mason, build_runner, i69n, bdd_widget_test, Firebase Suite, DataDog, LaunchDarkly, Segment, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
