Description

  • Own mobile system architecture and define stable, modular, high-performance application patterns.
  • Translate business objectives into technical blueprints and make system trade-off decisions.
  • Set performance benchmarks for startup time, memory usage, and frame rates.
  • Evaluate mobile technologies and lead legacy modernization and native add-to-app migrations.
  • Define and enforce mobile security standards, including certificate pinning, obfuscation, and anti-tampering.
  • Contribute code to complex systems and framework libraries while optimizing performance and diagnosing production issues.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for high-severity mobile incidents.
  • Standardize CI/CD, Fastlane release automation, and app store submission processes.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, development planning, architecture reviews, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Align technical roadmaps and architectural patterns across Product, Delivery, Operations, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Flutter/Dart.
  • Hands-on experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
  • Founding Engineer experience designing and architecting large-scale, high-load enterprise applications from scratch.
  • Technical leadership experience delivering complex mobile products through production deployment.
  • Strong system design skills and deep knowledge of Dart internals, including isolates, asynchronous programming, and null safety.
  • Expertise in Flutter’s rendering pipeline, Bloc or Riverpod, unit/widget/integration testing, and Melos monorepos.
  • Experience handling high-frequency real-time data using WebSockets, long-lived connections, and protobuf/JSON serialization.
  • Experience with mobile security, performance profiling, jank diagnosis, and memory-leak isolation.
  • Verifiable portfolio of production-grade applications where you served as Primary Architect or Tech Lead.
  • Preferred: native add-to-app migrations, server-driven UI, dynamic localization, feature toggles, deep linking, multi-jurisdiction deployment, and gambling app store requirements.
