Description

  • Own mobile system architecture, defining stable, modular, and high-performance application patterns.
  • Translate business goals into technical designs and make system trade-off decisions.
  • Set and monitor benchmarks for startup time, memory usage, and frame rates.
  • Evaluate mobile technologies and lead legacy modernization and native add-to-app migrations.
  • Define and enforce mobile security standards, including certificate pinning, obfuscation, and anti-tampering.
  • Contribute code to complex systems and framework libraries, and optimize performance issues such as jank, memory leaks, and CPU-intensive operations.
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for high-severity production issues.
  • Standardize CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane release automation, and app-store submission processes.
  • Align technical roadmaps and architectural patterns with Product, Delivery, Operations, and engineering teams.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, development plans, architecture reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial software development experience, including 3+ years with Flutter and Dart.
  • Hands-on experience with native iOS using Swift or Android using Kotlin.
  • Strong system design and architecture skills, including deep knowledge of Dart isolates, asynchronous programming, null safety, and Flutter rendering.
  • Experience with Bloc or Riverpod, unit/widget/integration testing, and Melos monorepos.
  • Ability to balance technical quality with delivery speed and own technical outcomes.
  • Experience handling real-time data using WebSockets, long-lived connections, and protobuf or JSON serialization.
  • Knowledge of mobile security standards and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, technical roadmaps, and development planning.
  • Experience with native add-to-app Flutter integrations and incremental migrations (preferred).
  • Experience with server-driven UI, large-scale localization, feature toggles, deep linking, mobile performance profiling, or gambling-app store requirements (preferred).
