Description

  • Verify new customers’ identities using IDs, proof of address, business registration documents, emails, and internal platforms.
  • Assess customer risk based on industry, geography, transaction patterns, and business activities.
  • Conduct customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence to confirm compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Use cross-platform research, including Companies House and social media, to gather client-specific information for KYC reviews.
  • Monitor and review information to help detect and prevent money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.
  • Work in line with KYC policies and procedures to maintain consistent compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the member experience.
  • Provide support across the business when needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in KYC or compliance, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of UK regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with CDD and EDD processes.
  • Prior experience using Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work through large datasets and identify patterns and trends.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, make sound decisions, solve problems proactively, and adapt to different working styles.
  • Initiative and curiosity about KYC principles and processes.
