Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and help ensure successful team delivery.
  • Bring a strategic mindset to projects and collaborate with clients to translate technical vision into reality.
  • Champion best practices such as clean, reusable code, TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Oversee or participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
  • Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to end customers early.
  • Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
  • Collaborate with teammates to build features, concepts, and interactive prototypes with UX considerations embedded.
  • Apply current technology thinking to solve client problems and continue coding alongside developers.
  • Champion DevSecOps practices and support a devops culture with security shifted left.
  • Coach, mentor, and foster growth in teammates while promoting an inclusive, supportive team culture.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python and Kafka.
  • Experience with Thought Machine or core banking technology (4th generation).
  • Thought Machine certification is a plus.
  • Comfort working with modern object-oriented technologies.
  • Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or continuous delivery practices.
  • Knowledge of TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Interest in continuously learning across areas such as functional programming, event-driven architecture, and platform engineering.
  • Experience influencing others while advocating for technical excellence and adapting to change.
  • Ability to bridge product and technology by translating business needs into software requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced peers and inspiring teams to deliver strong impact.
  • Resilience in ambiguous situations and the ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
