Description

  • Define market entry strategies across channels, key accounts, and categories for new European markets.
  • Build and maintain a focused A-assortment that balances hero SKUs with local market and retailer needs.
  • Set promotional guardrails, including pricing, promotion depth, and trade investment, to protect brand equity and commercial performance.
  • Develop scalable in-store activation playbooks and channel-specific toolkits for sales teams.
  • Translate strategy into practical sell-in materials, assortment rationale, and promotional frameworks.
  • Define KPIs such as distribution, sell-through, and promo ROI, and manage the review cadence across markets.
  • Act as the main interface between the Germany-based brand team and international markets to ensure alignment.
  • Partner closely with local sales leads to execute market-specific commercial plans.
  • Adapt the German go-to-market playbook to local market dynamics without reinventing the core strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience across key account management, category management, and trade marketing.
  • Experience in sports nutrition, FMCG, or consumer health is preferred.
  • Strong key account management experience with ownership of major retail or wholesale accounts.
  • Experience with JBP negotiations and end-to-end trade term management.
  • Proven use of category management tools such as range reviews, planogram development, shopper insights, and space-to-sales optimization.
  • Deep trade marketing experience across activation planning, promotional architecture, sell-in materials, and in-store execution.
  • Experience working across multiple European markets and adapting strategies to local conditions.
  • Fluency in English.
  • German or another European language is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel across European markets and visit the Hamburg headquarters around 1-2 times per month.
