Description

  • Define market entry strategies for new European markets across channels, key accounts, and categories.
  • Adapt ESN’s German go-to-market playbook to local market dynamics.
  • Build and maintain a focused A-assortment that balances hero SKUs with retailer and market needs.
  • Set pricing, promotion depth, and trade investment guardrails to protect brand equity and drive commercial results.
  • Create scalable in-store activation playbooks and channel-specific toolkits for sales teams.
  • Translate strategy into sell-in decks, assortment rationale, and promotional frameworks for local teams.
  • Define KPIs such as distribution, sell-through, and promo ROI, and run a regular performance review cadence.
  • Act as the key interface between the Germany team and international markets to keep brand alignment.
  • Work closely with local sales leads and the brand team in Germany.
  • Travel across European markets and visit the Hamburg headquarters regularly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in key account management, category management, and trade marketing, ideally in sports nutrition, FMCG, or consumer health.
  • Strong KAM experience with full ownership of major retail or wholesale accounts.
  • Experience with JBP negotiations and end-to-end trade term management.
  • Experience using category management tools such as range reviews, planogram development, shopper insights, and space-to-sales optimization.
  • Deep trade marketing experience across activation planning, promotional architecture, sell-in materials, and in-store execution.
  • Experience working across multiple European markets and adapting strategies to local needs.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • German or another European language is a strong plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between European markets and to Hamburg around 1-2 times per month.
  • Intermediate/Senior level and full-time availability (40 hours per week).
