Description

  • Own the master data model and attribute logic across all relevant domains.
  • Define field attributes, mandatory fields, and validation rules.
  • Define the system of record (SOR) for master data objects with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Document data flows along business processes and define synchronization, replication, and error-handling requirements with integration teams.
  • Own handoff points across MDM-relevant interfaces between systems such as SAP, PIM, CRM, WMS, and PLM.
  • Reduce complexity and technical workarounds across master data landscapes.
  • Support data migrations from extraction through validation.
  • Design and document end-to-end master data processes for creation, enrichment, approval, and distribution.
  • Close process gaps across product, supplier, customer, finance, and logistics domains.
  • Define data quality rules, monitor MDM KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in business data architecture, MDM, or SAP master data management.
  • Proven experience modeling master data structures in large transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master data such as material, business partner, pricing, and BOM.
  • Experience with PIM and PLM systems.
  • Understanding of CRM, WMS, and e-commerce landscapes and distributed data structures.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking.
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics for business stakeholders.
  • Independent, quality-driven working style.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Ideally experience with FMCG, food, dietary supplements, or retail industries.
