Description

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, growth, and marketing to bring new features to market.
  • Connect with users by analyzing qualitative and quantitative user data.
  • Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and business development teams to identify user needs and new product opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of user psychology, pain points, and behavior to inform product decisions.
  • Create roadmaps and metric targets and continuously track progress against goals.
  • Evaluate ideas and lead product prioritization and releases within a key product area.
  • Generate new product ideas through user research, feedback, brainstorms, and competitive research.
  • Prioritize initiatives in a data-informed way to maximize impact with limited resources.
  • Lead the product development cycle with UI/UX, engineering, QA, and data analysis partners.
  • Write design documents and web updates for new content, features, and initiatives.
  • Initiate data-driven experimentation and analysis on new products and features.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant product management experience.
  • Experience in a prior startup or other high-ambiguity environment.
  • Prior consumer-facing product development experience, ideally with mobile or subscription-based products.
  • Prior experience with psychology-based products, gamification, or other user behavior-oriented apps.
  • Strong consumer user empathy and perspective.
  • Ability to drive strategy and big-picture thinking.
  • Experience with data analysis, metrics, and goal-setting.
  • Strong analytical dexterity and critical problem-solving ability.
  • Scrappy, execution-focused, and outcome-focused mindset.
  • Curious and teachable attitude.
