Description

  • Lead development across Salesforce Marketing Cloud using SSJS, AMPscript, SQL, and Automation Studio.
  • Build scalable automations and reusable development patterns for the platform.
  • Own integrations with other marketing systems and external tools.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards for the Marketing Cloud environment.
  • Own data model design and governance within Marketing Cloud.
  • Ensure alignment between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and enterprise data models.
  • Optimise data processing, segmentation, and platform performance.
  • Design and build integrations with Salesforce, data platforms such as Databricks, and other external systems.
  • Define scalable data flow patterns, including API, batch, and event-driven approaches.
  • Maintain platform health, reliability, and technical debt reduction while leading incident resolution.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
  • Strong skills in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and Automation Studio.
  • Experience designing scalable data models and automations.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM integrations.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and data governance.
  • Experience with version control and release processes.
  • Ability to operate at a senior technical level and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Marketing stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong command of digital marketing fundamentals, including customer journey mapping, segmentation, and campaign lifecycle management.
  • Marketing Cloud certifications are desirable.
  • Experience in SaaS and/or PE-backed environments is desirable.
  • Exposure to post-acquisition technology and process alignment is desirable.
  • Exposure to Databricks or modern data platforms is desirable.
  • Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft or Workato is desirable.
  • Experience with HubSpot is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the wider martech ecosystem is desirable.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing or Marketing Operations teams in a consultative capacity is desirable.
