Description

  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company to prospects and clients by communicating its value proposition and story.
  • Drive top-line revenue and gross profit by selling products and services.
  • Manage account and territory planning to build pipeline and close deals monthly and quarterly.
  • Meet and exceed the assigned gross profit quota of $1.1M+.
  • Work with consulting teams to close complex security opportunities at the C-level.
  • Partner with vendor representatives to identify and close security software and hardware opportunities.
  • Sell software and service contracts ranging from $50K to $2M.
  • Stay ahead of customer budget cycles through proactive sales planning.
  • Leverage internal resources to add value for clients and support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security consulting or technology sales.
  • Consistent over-quota achievement.
  • Territory experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of IT and networking.
  • Direct selling experience with a hunter mentality.
  • Working knowledge of the channel sales model.
  • Formal sales training such as Miller-Heiman, Sandler, or Solution Selling, with proven proficiency.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and penetration testing.
  • Knowledge of security industry vendors and solutions, including SOC, GRC, advanced threat/behavioral analysis, and next-gen endpoint solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field from a competitive 4-year university.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently without detailed guidance.
  • Strong business acumen, professionalism, leadership, accountability, and self-starter qualities.
  • Excellent customer focus, strong attention to detail, and comfort working in a dynamic sales organization.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
