Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators across different experience levels.
  • Set career ladders, development plans, succession planning, performance expectations, and regular performance reviews.
  • Own portfolio governance by tracking schedule, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, utilization, and financial performance.
  • Ensure projects are properly staffed, balanced across PM levels, and supported by clear operating rhythms for reviews and escalations.
  • Serve as the escalation point for delivery issues and customer concerns, and help resolve complex execution blockers.
  • Maintain strong customer engagement and consistent delivery communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen account health.
  • Develop and maintain PM standards, workflows, templates, governance frameworks, and quality controls.
  • Improve project lifecycle processes from intake through closeout and drive adoption of delivery tooling and systems.
  • Align delivery execution with Product, Data Operations, Capture Technology, Customer Success, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Energy, Operations, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in project delivery, operations, construction technology, renewable energy, or a related industry.
  • 3+ years of direct people leadership experience managing PMs or equivalent delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading distributed or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience managing portfolios rather than only individual projects.
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Primavera P6, Cora, Wrike, Project Insight, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple customers and programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the year, primarily domestically to customer project sites and HQ offices.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, project management, operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience in PMO, delivery, or customer operations functions is preferred.
  • Experience supporting utility-scale solar, construction technology, GIS, remote sensing data, or data delivery environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial planning, resource forecasting, and operational KPIs is preferred.
