Description

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers in the technology department.
  • Design, build, deploy, and monitor systems that scale across the business and to global members.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to deliver high-quality software on a frequent cadence.
  • Work in a hands-on, build-and-run DevOps environment across the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure software quality through rigorous automated testing and monitoring metrics.
  • Evaluate technical solutions and make trade-off decisions based on cost and fit for purpose.
  • Partner closely with product to incorporate vision and ideas into the service platform.
  • Use AI to empower team members and accelerate the software development lifecycle.
  • Build and monitor distributed systems spanning frontend and backend components.

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency with Python.
  • Experience building and optimising systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and infrastructure tooling such as CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
  • Experience building and monitoring distributed systems, including frontend and backend.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple data stores, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Examples of utilising AI to empower team members and accelerate software development.
  • Desired experience building agents and workflows, including autonomous systems or multi-agent architectures.
  • Desired experience with GenAI tools such as LangGraph, CrewAI, Hugging Face, and OpenAI APIs.
  • Fluent in English with C2 proficiency, which is essential.
