Description

  • Partner with the field rep and VP of Business Development to identify and open relationships with trade schools, technical colleges, and vocational training programs.
  • Support outreach, research, and follow-through to nurture relationships with program directors, instructors, and school leadership.
  • Build curriculum-ready materials such as lesson plans, case studies, and lab exercises with early-adopter instructors.
  • Design and maintain tutorials, quick-start guides, and sandbox environments that help instructors onboard and teach with Tekmetric.
  • Equip sales and partnerships teams with messaging about workforce development for customer conversations.
  • Surface partner success stories and impact metrics for use in marketing, PR, social, and brand campaigns.
  • Gather feedback from instructors and students to refine messaging, positioning, and program structure.
  • Document learnings, wins, and dead ends into a repeatable playbook for national expansion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building.
  • Prior business development experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and build from scratch.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to pivot as priorities and strategies change.
  • Curiosity and coachability, with the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly.
  • Interest or background in partnerships, education, workforce development, or the automotive industry is a bonus.
  • Hybrid and remote work models are available based on proximity to office hubs.
  • Travel is an expected part of the role.
  • Attendance at company and team offsites several times a year is expected and fully supported.
