Description

  • Oversee and facilitate dealership user training and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Provide DMS training to dealership staff across all departments.
  • Guide and direct additional implementation specialists assigned to the project.
  • Obtain critical milestone signoffs from key dealership contacts.
  • Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them effectively.
  • Manage training and setup items, maintain detailed notes, and complete implementation runbook checklist items.
  • Represent Tekion professionally in all dealership interactions.
  • Work closely with the Implementation Manager to set and manage dealership expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with dealership personnel and stakeholders.
  • Support configuration, testing, and process documentation efforts as part of the implementation process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DMS experience in the auto industry.
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS solutions in large and small auto dealerships.
  • 3+ years in a Project Management or Project Lead role preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into clear, consumable language for adult learners.
  • Ability to turn customer suggestions and insights into technical deliverables for Product and Support teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the retail automotive industry, including common terminology and dealership process flows.
  • Deep understanding of Tekion products, including end-user workflows and configurations.
  • Knowledge of implementation processes and the roles and responsibilities of adjacent internal teams.
  • Willingness to complete an 8-10 week certification and training program.
  • Travel required up to 90% by plane and car.
  • Candidates based in Ontario (Toronto area), British Columbia (Vancouver area), or Alberta (Calgary area) preferred.
  • Experience in an early-stage startup environment is a plus.
