Description

  • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, and documentation efforts across complex, multi-discipline projects.
  • Serve as Project Lead on selected projects, with accountability for scope alignment, profitability, and project health.
  • Identify delivery risks early and recommend adjustments to protect quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Group Leads, Team Leads, and cross-discipline teammates to resolve coordination issues and maintain standards.
  • Document client-specific processes, design decisions, meeting notes, scope clarifications, and deviations in project tools and the Design Decision Log (DDL).
  • Provide technical guidance, design reviews, markups, and QA/QC support to improve design quality and documentation clarity.
  • Mentor engineers, Designers, and production team members through coaching, feedback, delegated work, and quarterly performance input.
  • Support client relationship development through clear communication, business reviews, strategic discussions, and participation in pursuits and interviews.
  • Contribute to discipline standards, templates, workflows, and documentation through targeted Pull Requests and lessons learned.
  • Support workload forecasting, resource planning, billing clarity, scope validation, and accurate time and expense reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs within ICT, Network, Wi-Fi, or similar technology disciplines.
  • Ability to lead discipline-specific portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • RCDD, EIT, PE, CCNA, CDT, and PMP certifications are preferred or valued.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for meetings, surveys, inspections, and field verification work.
