Description

  • Lead discipline-specific design, coordination, and documentation efforts on complex projects.
  • Serve as Project Lead on selected projects and monitor scope, schedule, and profitability.
  • Identify project risks early and recommend adjustments to keep work on track.
  • Lead technical design reviews and QA/QC efforts to maintain TEECOM standards.
  • Document client-specific processes, project decisions, and deviations in the Design Decision Log and project tools.
  • Collaborate with Project Leads, Group Leads, Team Leads, and cross-discipline partners to resolve coordination issues.
  • Mentor engineers, Designers, and production team members through coaching, feedback, and design guidance.
  • Support pursuits, interviews, and fee/proposal development with technical scope input.
  • Contribute to discipline standards, templates, workflows, and documentation through Pull Requests and updates.
  • Participate in client meetings, site walks, field verifications, and industry events as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services, with discipline-specific capability in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high-quality designs and making sound technical decisions.
  • Ability to lead discipline-specific portions of complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • PSP and/or CPP certification preferred for Security discipline.
  • CDT preferred; EIT, PE, and PMP are pluses.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
