Description

  • Own modeling strategy, coordination workflows, and delivery quality across assigned projects.
  • Produce coordinated Revit models, drawings, documentation, and early engineering support with minimal oversight.
  • Lead BIM coordination efforts by running clash reviews, documenting issues, and resolving or escalating conflicts.
  • Maintain model health by managing links, worksets, families, warnings, view templates, and model organization.
  • Support complex design development through calculations, research, product evaluations, specifications, and device/layout coordination.
  • Communicate coordination risks, assumptions, and decisions proactively across project, engineering, and production teams.
  • Estimate effort, sequence tasks, manage priorities, and provide input on scope, resources, and deliverable timing.
  • Support and guide Designer I and II team members through workflows, troubleshooting, and coordination efforts.
  • Document design decisions, assumptions, and workflow improvements in project tools and GitHub Pull Requests.
  • Contribute to site visits, existing conditions verification, and cross-discipline model/documentation reviews as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects.
  • BS in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical or field experience.
  • Experience with technology system design disciplines such as Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, or Wi‑Fi (preferred).
  • Experience supporting engineering tasks such as calculations, device layouts, and specification development (preferred).
  • Experience leading BIM coordination, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Ability to manage coordinated models, produce accurate drawings with minimal oversight, and resolve production issues independently.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage work across several projects.
  • Solid technical understanding of technology systems and engineering principles.
  • Industry certifications preferred but not required, including EIT, CDT, CTS (AV), RCDD (Telecom), PSP/CPP (Security), or PE.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
