Description

  • Design end-to-end maternity journeys and features for pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester.
  • Build functional, high-fidelity prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Design adaptive AI experiences that anticipate member needs and connect them to human care at the right time.
  • Define how the product handles uncertainty, AI fallbacks, and trust in high-stakes health contexts.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, Clinical, and Data to scope MVPs and ship features.
  • Contribute scalable AI-powered patterns to the design system, including confidence indicators and human-AI handoffs.

Requirements

  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, Figma AI, Relume, or similar, with strong prompting skills.
  • Ability to turn ideas into working prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Experience shipping code to production and understanding how design decisions map to backend architecture and model behavior.
  • Strong product design portfolio with attention to edge cases, micro-interactions, and resilient flows.
  • Experience designing for mobile applications and responsive web.
  • Ability to move quickly and work well in ambiguous 0→1 environments.
  • Member-obsessed mindset with empathy for people navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated domains (preferred).
  • Background working with ML/AI teams on model-driven products (preferred).
  • Experience with consumer-grade design systems or Figma variables and advanced AI features (preferred).

  • Base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year.
