Description

  • Define and shape the company’s visual identity across web presence, marketing channels, and product-related communications.
  • Execute design work for the website, sales collateral, social media assets, and email campaigns to a high standard.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing on initiatives ranging from everyday campaigns to larger launches.
  • Help generate creative ideas for reaching the audience through unconventional formats such as new campaigns, content series, or events.
  • Contribute to deciding what initiatives to pursue, not just how they are visually executed.
  • Work in a fast-moving environment by sharing work early, iterating openly, and incorporating team input.
  • Balance strong design taste with metrics-driven experimentation to improve performance.
  • Partner with engineers and founders in a design-focused culture where craft and product sense matter.
  • Support design work that communicates the product effectively, rather than focusing primarily on product UI.
  • Use video as part of the creative toolkit and help grow the company’s video capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Figma and comfort creating web-based design work.
  • A strong eye for making designs look and feel great.
  • Intuitive sense for good copy and how wording and visuals work together.
  • Experience working for product-led companies, ideally SaaS.
  • Comfort with HTML and CSS fundamentals, including making simple fixes in GitHub pull requests.
  • Interest in and some experience with video, with enthusiasm to develop that skill further.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and in a fast-moving, messy startup environment.
  • Preference for collaborative, open work habits with early and frequent sharing.
  • Excitement about metrics-driven experimentation while maintaining strong visual taste.
  • Prior experience is not specified, but the role appears to value candidates who can operate independently in a seed-stage environment.
