Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects from programming through closeout with increasing independence.
  • Coordinate design development, deliverables, and cross-discipline alignment to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Prepare and review layouts, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation aligned with engineering intent and firm standards.
  • Identify project risks, resolve discipline conflicts, and surface issues early to keep delivery on track.
  • Maintain disciplined documentation of decisions, assumptions, and client-specific nuances across project tools and GitHub.
  • Participate in project, discipline, and coordination meetings and communicate decisions, constraints, and follow-up actions clearly.
  • Mentor Designers, Associates, and engineers through markups, feedback, check-ins, and technical guidance.
  • Contribute to standards, workflows, tools, and QA/QC improvements through Pull Requests and lessons learned.
  • Support pursuits by contributing scope assumptions, fee inputs, technical narratives, and interview participation.
  • Support site walks, surveys, construction-phase coordination, and other project tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific capability in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
  • Experience leading portions of mid- to large-size projects, supporting coordination, and guiding Designers or engineers is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated discipline designs and make sound technical decisions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination requirements.
  • Experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications such as PSP, CPP, CDT, EIT, PE, and PMP are preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to perform occasional travel to client sites and work in construction or field environments, as needed.
