Description

  • Design, deploy, and optimize technical controls that detect and prevent security incidents.
  • Develop detection logic, integrate threat intelligence, automate response with SOAR, and create AI-enabled security operations playbooks.
  • Contribute to or lead incident response activities, including tabletop exercises.
  • Collaborate across teams to embed security best practices into products and processes.
  • Conduct thesis-driven threat hunts across forensic data lakes.
  • Research the evolving threat landscape and strengthen the organization’s security posture.
  • Participate in a shared rotational on-call schedule.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of information security or software development experience.
  • Experience securing cloud-native environments.
  • Experience with endpoint detection and response.
  • Knowledge and experience in digital forensics and incident response.
  • Ability to automate using Go, Python, shell scripting, or similar languages.
  • Investigative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Working knowledge of macOS or Linux technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-first approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or a related field; offensive security and threat intelligence experience are preferred.
