Description

  • Lead fee development for professional services agreements, proposals, interview coordination, and fee negotiations with clients.
  • Build and maintain client and design team relationships while documenting key contacts, discussions, and follow-ups in the CRM.
  • Develop telecom, security, network, audiovisual, acoustics, and Wi‑Fi design criteria through client meetings and programming sessions.
  • Coordinate, engineer, and document system designs, including drawings, specifications, contract documents, calculations, and reports.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, decisions, and team coordination across architecture, engineering, contractors, integrators, and internal TEECOM teams.
  • Delegate work, mentor junior staff, and contribute to internal training content and process documentation.
  • Attend meetings, prepare meeting notes, and provide periodic project updates to leadership on status, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Conduct or delegate site inspections, commissioning, and closeout activities to confirm progress and system functionality.
  • Support business development by pursuing new opportunities, asking about upcoming work, and attending client or industry events.
  • Identify and secure additional services agreements when project scope changes and ensure project deliverables meet deadlines and profitability targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with electrical preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of discipline design experience in facilities construction projects.
  • Experience in telecom, security, audiovisual, acoustics, Wi‑Fi, or network design.
  • Knowledge of AEC industry workflows and building technology systems.
  • Experience producing coordinated construction documents using an engineering approach.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft Office 365, and G Suite.
  • EIT certification is a plus.
  • PE certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, compute, problem-solve, and conduct research using the internet.

Benefits

  • Salary range of £85,000 to £105,000 per year.
