Description

  • Own end-to-end administration of U.S. employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, leave, wellness, retirement, and other perks.
  • Lead U.S. open enrollment and coordinate global enrollment activities, including vendor coordination, system setup, employee communications, validation, and audits.
  • Administer the U.S. 401(k) retirement program, including enrollments, contribution changes, loans, distributions, catch-up contributions, and annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate benefits enrollment, eligibility, and life event processing in the HRIS and perform regular data quality checks.
  • Provide benefits-related reporting, billing, allocation support, and reconciliation assistance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers on benefits, claims, status changes, and retirement questions.
  • Process and administer U.S. leaves of absence, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA leaves.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. benefits and leave regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Support global benefits administration and help align processes with global best practices.
  • Partner with brokers, carriers, retirement providers, third-party administrators, Payroll, and Finance to ensure accurate deductions, contributions, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Monitor benefits utilization, costs, and trends and provide recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Develop and maintain clear employee-friendly benefits documentation and communications.
  • Support core HR functions and contribute to continuous process improvement across People Operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years focused on U.S. benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing U.S. 401(k) retirement plans, including direct involvement in annual 401(k) audits.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. compliance requirements, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers, carriers, and HRIS/benefits platforms.
  • Experience using HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support employees across diverse cultures and time zones.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a global, fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
  • U.S. work authorization is required; employer visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country workforce is a strong plus.
