Description

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Okta Identity Cloud and enterprise identity services.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
  • Configure authentication policies, adaptive and phishing-resistant MFA, and application sign-on policies.
  • Manage identity lifecycle automation, including provisioning, deprovisioning, profile mappings, group rules, and application assignments.
  • Support identity federation, Active Directory and LDAP integrations, PKI, PIV/CAC, and certificate-based authentication.
  • Develop PowerShell automation using Okta REST APIs for lifecycle management, reporting, and bulk identity updates.
  • Integrate enterprise systems through REST APIs and evaluate Python-based automation capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot complex authentication, provisioning, authorization, and synchronization issues.
  • Create architecture documentation, implementation guides, procedures, workflow diagrams, and engineering documentation.
  • Support Zero Trust initiatives, security investigations, compliance activities, deployments, change management, and Tier III support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of daily hands-on experience administering and engineering Okta Identity Cloud solutions, including integrations, lifecycle management, automation, and REST APIs; or at least 3 years with an enterprise IAM platform such as Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or comparable.
  • Current SECRET-level security clearance.
  • Experience with Okta Identity Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity, Active Directory, LDAP, and identity federation.
  • Experience implementing SSO with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
  • Experience with MFA, identity lifecycle management, REST API integrations, JSON, and API payloads.
  • Experience developing PowerShell automation; Python experience is preferred for future automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of PKI, PIV/CAC authentication, Zero Trust architecture, and enterprise identity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel to Washington, DC for important meetings.
  • Ability to create technical and operational documentation and collaborate across cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and application teams.
