Description

  • Lead UX discovery through heuristic analysis, planner shadowing, and qualitative research to understand how users work.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture for complex avails, rights, and conflict-check workflows.
  • Design and iterate wireframes, interaction patterns, and clickable Figma prototypes for early user validation.
  • Solve complex interaction challenges involving dense data tables, bulk operations, condition shaping, version comparison, and rules logic.
  • Partner with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with fidelity.
  • Contribute to the development of a reusable design system.
  • Define and run usability testing, then use findings to guide iteration.
  • Build accessibility compliance requirements into designs from the start.
  • Balance expert-user flexibility with structure, consistency, and guardrails in the platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX design experience.
  • Strong portfolio of complex internal tools, enterprise software, data-heavy applications, or workflow systems.
  • Experience designing for expert or power users and information-dense interfaces.
  • Deep fluency in Figma, wireframing, prototyping, and design system maintenance.
  • Strong grasp of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles for complex systems.
  • Experience running user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to collaborate directly with business stakeholders and engineers.
  • Ability to defend design decisions with reasoning and evidence.
  • Pragmatic, iterative mindset with comfort shipping prototypes, gathering feedback, and refining quickly.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Occasional travel to Los Angeles is required.
  • Contract employment type.
