Description

  • Lead product design initiatives that help restaurateurs manage private dining operations more efficiently.
  • Design consumer-facing experiences for OpenTable’s private dining offerings in the app.
  • Facilitate research with restaurant owners and staff to become an expert in operator workflows.
  • Apply systems thinking to create scalable solutions across the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver new experiences.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct user interviews and test design solutions.
  • Negotiate, prioritize, and break down design work into measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product design experience.
  • An exceptional portfolio showcasing a breadth of product design work.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills.
  • Experience designing complex or B2B2C workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design for both web and mobile.
  • Confidence and pragmatism in setting design direction.
  • Strong product and business thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering in an agile environment.
  • Fluency in AI tools such as Cursor, Figma Make, or Claude.
  • Expertise in Figma and other prototyping tools.
