Description

  • Account for the output of multiple Scrum and digital delivery teams.
  • Own and create roadmaps and project plans across multiple programme teams.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple projects and ensure programme outcomes are achieved.
  • Champion and mentor Scrum Masters and Digital Project Managers in agile and project management methods.
  • Work with stakeholders and Product Owners to manage communication and gather customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Digital Project Managers, programme managers, and Product Owners to implement digital solutions and realize business benefits.
  • Ensure goals are met for customer satisfaction, quality, and team performance.
  • Remove blockers and manage changes and interventions to keep projects on track.
  • Manage resources, deadlines, budgets, and programme activities.
  • Produce status reports, highlight risks, and report progress to senior client stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Expert resource management skills with the ability to direct and lead, manage priorities and dependencies, mitigate risks, and report status updates.
  • Experience managing digital or technology programmes and projects.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary private-sector environment with high-profile suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management methodology/framework experience, including Agile/Scrum and PRINCE2.
  • Proven experience delivering multi-million-pound, large-scale, multi-team projects and programmes.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse multi-disciplinary teams through direct line management and matrix management.
  • Deep working knowledge of agile methods and practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support teams.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise reports and papers with recommendations and proposals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and work with customer-defined third-party suppliers to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work in highly complex and advanced technical environments.
  • Willingness to intervene or assist the team where needed.
