Description

Create, develop, and improve automation test suites across projects.
Build automated tests within test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Write and run automated test scripts and regression suites.
Perform functional and non-functional testing on web and mobile applications.
Work with development teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Accurately record, track, and report defects raised during testing.
Contribute to Agile planning and estimation activities as part of the team.
Support testing efforts for cutting-edge web-based solutions in a cross-functional product team.

Requirements

3–6 month contract availability.
Experience in QA testing of web-based applications.
Experience with cross-browser functional testing.
Experience writing test cases and working with bug tracking and reporting tools.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Working knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development).
Experience with automated API testing using RestAssured.
Confidence in writing, programming, and running automated tests.
Midlands-based candidates preferred, with hybrid work of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote; UK remote candidates considered if able to travel to the Midlands occasionally.
