Description

Own end-to-end K-1 season project management, including coordination of partnership tax returns across thousands of entities and investors by the March 15 deadline.
Manage the relationship with the external CPA firm, including setting milestones, surfacing blockers, and holding the vendor accountable to delivery timelines.
Collect, organize, and review financial records, cap table documentation, entity filings, 1065s, and K-1s for accuracy and investor delivery.
Process club distributions, reconcile transactions against source records, and resolve discrepancies in financial workflows.
File engineering tickets for platform-related issues and create custom transaction summaries when needed.
Manage annual and franchise tax compliance across multiple states.
Track platform fees, support accounts receivable, and assist with closings-to-operations onboarding documentation.
Share ownership of the Zendesk support queue and respond to investor and club leader inquiries within a 48-hour SLA.
Escalate platform bugs to Engineering and identify recurring ticket patterns that suggest systemic improvements.

Requirements

2–5 years of accounting, finance, or fintech operations experience.
Strong understanding of reconciliation, debits and credits, and discrepancy investigation.
Familiarity with K-1s, 1065s, and partnership tax structures.
Experience managing an external vendor relationship and holding them to deadlines.
Ability to build trackers and write SOPs without being asked.
Active use of AI tools with specific use cases and measurable impact on work.
Clear, professional communication with assertive investors and business operators.
Experience working in a lean startup or high-ambiguity environment.
Hands-on experience with TaxDome or a comparable tax workflow platform (preferred).
Exposure to multi-state entity compliance (preferred).
Background in real estate investing, fund administration, or syndication operations (preferred).
K-1 season project management experience with defined milestones and stakeholder accountability (preferred).

Benefits

Base salary of $95,000–$115,000 depending on experience.
Performance-based bonus with total compensation target around $135,000.
