Description

  • Work with the sales team from initial discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates.
  • Lead and participate in customer discovery meetings and analyze current technology, architecture, operational needs, and business needs.
  • Deliver platform demos and comprehensive proof-of-value engagements for existing customers and new sales opportunities.
  • Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions and position Tanium’s platform to address those needs.
  • Serve as a technical expert across pre-sales and POV processes, aligning tactical actions with strategic account goals.
  • Partner with field engineering teams to maximize technical effectiveness and ensure a consistent customer experience during the POV process.
  • Communicate customer needs clearly through verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Participate in and speak at regional marketing events and conferences.
  • Support customer-facing sales and channel enablement, including training.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support roles.
  • Significant software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments.
  • Experience presenting to audiences ranging from VP level executives to solution users.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning complex initiatives and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance products and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • Must be located in Toronto.
  • Travel of 30-50% is expected.
